History Plot:

Chiquititas revolves around the ray orphanage, which carries in its history a great secret involving the family and the owner of the orphanage, Dr. José Ricardo Almeida Campos. In a period prior to the soap opera, exactly thirteen years old, his daughter Gabriela fell in love and became pregnant with Miguel, son of Valentina, maid of the Almeida Campos House. Shortly thereafter, José Ricardo kidnapped his granddaughter, because, as a conservative man, he did not accept the idea that his daughter was involved with a servant.
