Free app Commemorating Taking Medication
"Hollis medication app" is reminiscent of the regular use of medication through sound and vibration and also lists all those who have become due on the homepage or will soon be due. The highlight: When creating the profiles, you can now photograph the drug name of the packaging as much as possible and thus save the typing of the often complicated names completely! For this comfort, however, the app needs the authorization to access the camera of the smartphone.
When creating medication profiles, you can also define the individual dose to be taken and the existing supply quantity if necessary. In this case, the app for this drug in the list on the start page also shows you how many days the stock is sufficient. If the supply quantity falls below the value three complete daily doses, the list entry of the medication in question is highlighted by a red marking.
The time of taking can be defined flexibly as one-off, daily or in larger intervals such as days, weeks and months with up to five alarm times per day. If necessary, a start date can be specified on which the alarm is to take place/start.
Furthermore, import and export of the stored medication profiles - for example for data backup - are possible. There is also the possibility to save a remark for each drug, such as the contact details of the prescribing doctor.
You can also install an associated widget on your start screen, which you will inform you about the next time you have due or currently due.
Now new: You can now also record your own notification tone (via "Settings") for all alarms (the app needs the authorization to access the microphone of the smartphone).
Important NOTE:
Current Android operating systems usually have energy-saving management that can last for the background processes of "Hollis Medicines App". In this case, you will not receive any alarm when taking medication. Therefore, please ensure that this app is excluded from energy-saving management. How you have to proceed exactly should be described in the operating instructions for your smartphone.
Finally, a request: If you submit a negative assessment for this app, it would be nice to give a reason for this so that a possible error can be remedied. Commentless 1 or 2-star ratings do not help at all and also do not motivate you to continue offering apps free of charge. In this sense, it would also be nice to give a positive assessment if you are satisfied with the app.
