Maybe you send them a location using WhatsApp... and then they moved. Or maybe when you go to a big festival and you lose your friends because they wanted to see Iron Maiden who were playing at the same time as Eminem...

FollowMe allows you to share your location with a single group of people for a period time that you control.

It doesn't collect any data about you, it doesn't store any past location data, only your current location.
